Oksana Veber, who was born into a Ukrainian-German family in the Altai region of Siberia, is a multifaceted artist. She has been painting since the age of four and exhibiting her work since she was eighteen. Her passion goes beyond art: she loves classical music, opera, dance, and travelling. Oksana’s artistic journey has taken her all over Europe, where she has had numerous exhibitions since 1987.
Her first paintings were landscapes, influenced by her fascination with Taoism and other Eastern philosophies.
These themes of peace and harmony ran through her work.
But over the years her style changed. In “River Silence” we witness this development. The serene river scene captures a moment of stillness — a reflection of her preference for zen-like tranquillity. The painting's warm colour palette reflects her search for inner balance and serenity.
Oksana Veber’s art bridges cultures and philosophies, inviting the viewer to pause, contemplate, and find solace in the gentle flow of existence.
